Behind every union is a group of humans, people who want to work together to make change and endlessly advocate for better working conditions for themselves, their colleagues, and the larger industry. Here are what same of the Big Cartel Workers Union members have to say.

Sarah says, "I am proud to be forming our union because we're putting Big Cartel's values into action, and taking steps to advocate for and protect each other." Lauren says, "I am proud to be forming our union because we deserve the voice, leverage, and protection it will give us." Joel says, "I'm proud to be forming our union because it brings us into solidarity with workers all over the world who understand that our true strength lies in looking out for and taking care of each other." Mary says, "I am rpoud to be forming a union because I know our ability to create an equitable, healthy, and caring workplace comes from our collective efforts. We have the power to construct our own workplace environment and advocate for each other." Andrew says, "I am proud to be forming our union because it demonstrates our commitment to one another and our shared values, and it gives our leaders the opportunity to recognize and formalize the power we each have to build Big Cartel's future together." Brett says, "I am proud to be forming our union because I've longed for a way to organize, collaborate, and support my colleagues within a system that vastly favors those with power and control. I'm standing with my colleagues because they stood up for me."
